Create/Import TBs

In the Linguistic Assets -Termbases interface, you can create/import a TB.

Create TB​

Click Create TB in the interface. In the below pop-up, fill TB's name, import TB files, select language pairs, and click OK. If you do not have a matched local TB file, you can skip importing TB, and create an empty TB.

Note: Only tbx, xls, xlsx files or txt files delimited by tabs with the size no more than 10MB can be imported into TB.

Import TBs​

To import TM files into an existing TM, find the TM to be imported, and click the Import button in the right action bar. Then, the pop-up shown below will appear automatically, click Upload. Only tbx, xls, xlsx files or txt files delimited by tabs with the size no more than 10MB can be imported into TB.

After the TB is imported, the status bar will be updated from Normal to Importing. When the status changes back to Normal again, and the number of entries increases, the TB is successfully imported.

Note:

  1. It takes time for importing large TBs, please wait.
  2. If the imported source and target pairs have already existed in current TBs, the system will automatically deduplicate.
