Special format document settings

Team Version users can set Word, Excel and PPT documents. Besides the documents above, Enterprise users can also set documents in Idml format and CAD files.

Default selections are as follows: not to translate notes and hidden layers of documents in Idml format, and to translate placeables in CAD files.

If you need to translate notes or hidden layers of documents in Idml format, or don't need to translate placeables in CAD files, you can check the option under the Idml documents or cancel the option under the CAD files.

Note: the document settings is only available while creating projects, and it can't be changed after that.

Documents in Idml format​

For Idml documents, you can check Comments and Hidden texts to translate.

CAD files​

For documents in DWG and DXF format, YiCAT will check placeables (numbers and symbols) by default unless you cancel the option.
