Machine translation
YiCAT has many MT engines. You can enable one MT engine when creating a project or after creating a project.
Disable MT
If the project does not need to enable MT, you can select Disable Check Box to turn MT off. If you have enabled Pre-translation in your project, the system will not adopt results from MT.
Enable MT
If the project needs to enable MT engine, you can directly select one MT for general domain or specific MT provided by the system. When enabling pre-translation, your own TMs and MT will be both adopted in the Target. (Your own TMs take priority over MT).
Note:
MT Quota for free of 200 segments is provided for the team every day. Team owner needs to pay for extra segments with their balance. Please make sure you have free quota or sufficient balance before using.
Click Check MT details at the bottom of the interface to check the price list of different translation engines and quota used details.

Payment rules:
The payment for MT is calculated by thousand characters, and the system will automatically charge once MT is enabled.
- Using the same machine translation engine to translate the same segments within one day will not be charged repeatedly. However, it will be charged on another day (after 11:59 p.m. Beijing Time).
- Using different machine translation results to translate the same content will be charged repeatedly
- If you want to use previous MT results for the same segment on another day (after 11: 59 p. m. Beijing Time), please add MT results to TM, and use pre-translation;
- MT transactions will be automatically generated after 11:59 pm Beijing Time. Please go to [Settings - Balance - Transactions] to check the transactions.
